This week, Daly's SuperValu on Park Road, who sold an RTE ONE Telly Bingo ticket before June 11, received a call asking them to take part on the popular ‘Phone Risk' game as the Lotto couldn't make contact with the ticket holder.

'Lotto contacted us on Friday,' Denis explained to the Killarney Advertiser.

However, Denis, unsure which colour balls to choose in the game, sought the advice of staff member Áine Griffin who is a dab hand at the TV game.
'For the rehearsal I asked Áine what I should go for and she said pick them in the order of white, black and black.'
And for the real game on TV, Áine advised him to play in the same order.
'She was right!,' he said. 'With Phone Risk you're guaranteed €1k but if you get the three right – it's €10k.'
